Carried by an entrepreneurial family spirit and the desire to showcase excellence “à la Française” on the contemporary design scene, EGO Paris adorn the most beautiful outdoor spaces, worldwide, with its intelligent and elegant premium outdoor furniture.
The Sommereux brothers gathered in 2004 in order to create the EGO Paris premium outdoor furniture brand, with the common desire to live an adventure, both human and entrepreneurial. Very quickly, they found their marks: one at the company’s management, the other at the production, developing a know-how around the aluminium, the noble material in the industry of outdoor furniture.
It’s on their homeland in the heart of Beaujolais that the company EGO Paris was born, in the city of Belleville, near Lyon, with the production workshop where Yvan Sommereux, who oversees the production, can take a welding torch to rectify a detail and give a hand to the assembly unit.
On par with French’s best craftsmanship, the products of the brand’s collections are also successful abroad, thanks to the “Art de vivre à la française” flag they carry and let the world envy us.
As a result, EGO Paris has gradually won the globe: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, the United States, Chile, the Emirates … and adorn with its collections the most majestic outdoor spaces, such as the Burj-al-Arab in Dubai, a 5-star hotel in one of the highest buildings in Dubai, recognizable by its unique sail-like design, the 3.14 Hotel in Cannes, the Cap Estel Hotel in Eze, the Fairmont Flame Towers in Baku, the Silversands Hotel in Grenada, the Park Hyatt Hotel in Buenos Aires and many others.
Thanks to a controlled manufacturing process, EGO Paris has developed an agility that allows them to deliver the furniture to customers in a record time, without cutting any corners on quality. Sunloungers, dining sets, armchairs and other pieces are ready in record time: in only three weeks the customized furniture leave the factory and invest the most beautiful gardens and terraces.
It is said that “the devil is in the details”: EGO Paris does not omit any in the design of its products and remains faithful to its motto “ingenuity, modularity, conviviality”.
The pieces of furniture, extremely well thought out by the designers, present for the most part this extra soul and trick, which makes them essential. Similar to this coffee table from the KAMA collection, whose trays raise in no time in order to work on a computer or to have lunch there without having to bend over excessively. The dining table of the EXTRADOS collection, with airy lines, comes with table runners that can be accessorized at will and become plants tray, cutting board or ice bucket to refresh the bottles of a festive coming event. For the well-named NESTED CABINS, they were of course designed to line up like Russian dolls in order to take as little space as possible.
No more imposed sofa configurations: EGO Paris offers now collections of which you can be the architect. Some seating modules or a subtle set of cushions allows you to create outdoor sofas, sunloungers, armchairs, islands of relaxation or ottomans: the only limit is the space you have.
The 11 collections and about the hundred items from the catalog offers a real outdoor lifestyle. Neat lines, pleasant materials, subtle colors, the brand draw spaces that invite to share warm moments, with family, friends, and for all the convivial moments of the day: happy family lunches, lively discussions, refined dinners with friends or even … pillow battles with the kids.
5.5 Design Studio, Thomas Sauvage, Dorothée Noirbent, Fabrice Berrux, Ronan Masson, Emmanuelle Legavre, Agence Auvray… EGO Paris surrounds itself with soaring creative designers in order to reinvent themselves and seduce more and more prescribers, architects, interior designers, landscapers and a clientele of prestigious hotels and individuals. Not surprisingly, the brand has received several illustrious awards such as the prestigious “RED DOT Design Award” for the TANDEM Sunlounger (design Thomas Sauvage), and the NYCxDesign best Product Award in the Outdoor category for the NESTED CABINS (design Dorothée Noirbent).
