Focus su: Terzani
This week we show you the most iconic products of the Terzani brand, an Italian company, born in Florence, which designs and produces luxury lighting
From the beginning, Terzani has always seen aesthetics as a way to interpret natural and artistic beauty. Born in Florence, Italy, the cradle of the Renaissance, the company was driven to follow the creative invocations of the magical city. The word "aesthetic" originates from the Greek "aisthesis" which means feeling or, more precisely, knowledge created by the use of one's senses. When you look at a Terzani project, you can perceive how its light enchantingly envelops the surrounding space. It is more than just a practical and utilitarian design, it is an aesthetic that represents modern and artistic beauty through the use of innovative designs and technologies.
The open dialogue within the company, including external designers, generates the inspiration behind Terzani's creations. The pieces are born from a corporate culture that runs parallel and remains faithful to Terzani's vision. This inspiration can be a form that exists in nature, as you can see with the fish that inspired The Silver Lucci; or the stones / drops of water that inspired Mizu; or a material or working method that attracts the attention of the creative team. The quality designers who collaborate with the company carry out the projects using all the necessary technical diligence, but the starting point that defines each Terzani luminaire is always a sensation.
The unique style that Terzani has established requires the balance of several characteristics. Terzani is elegant and sophisticated, innovative but original. Terzani uses the latest technology, but also incorporates fine materials traditionally handcrafted by local artisans. Each lamp is an object / sculpture that wants to integrate completely into the surrounding environment, spreading a fascinating and enchanting play of light. Thus creating a constant interaction between the lamp and the surrounding space.
The feeling that Terzani exudes is one of harmony and union. Its products are based on the human process, passing on the handmade artisan traditions of lovingly creating objects piece by piece. This is the essence of Terzani, seeing beauty in the contemporary world, tradition and the search for new forms and languages. For all these reasons, the company is growing and has expanded its exports to an increasing number of countries.
Let's discover together some of the company's iconic products
Suspension lamp made from many small metal discs, in stainless steel, assembled together. The light creates a game of particular reflections with many gleams that capture the attention. The ceiling rose is white.
At Terzani, we are fortunate to work with some of the brightest young stars in Italian design. For Volver, designer Diego Bassetti and architect Andrea Panzeri of Studio 14, protected by Bruno Rainaldi, applied their multidisciplinary approach to create Terzani's first led pendant lamp.
Terzani continues to reinvent the classics. With Soscik, which combines traditional and artisanal techniques with cutting-edge technologies to give the traditional chandelier a modern update. Created by weaving a metal chain onto a nickel-plated frame, Soscik creates a dramatic and romantic effect, while still being able to compliment today's modern luxury.
