Kristalia was founded in 1994 by a young group of Friulian jazz enthusiasts who do the smartest but also the easiest and most immediate thing that can be done: they look around them, in the north-east where the company will be built, they discover sectors completely new in terms of design, but in which local excellence is expressed: mountain boots, the production of automotive components, clothing and knitwear. And in these places they decide to give a new rhythm, which meets the innovation of design.

In a few years Kristalia becomes a reference in and outside Italy: in the 2000s it makes the history of extendable tables; in the 1910s it was one of the design companies to which designers looked with more interest and for some years it had opened up to the contract world.

Today the subcontractors who were skeptical at the time have become the first to seek them out to develop new ideas. Meaning: maintaining solid and lasting relationships with a family of planners, designers or craftsmen, opening up to new talents who are able to dialogue with a precise, tense, visionary grammar and with a strong drive for innovation.
